Oct. 17--No Isaac Odim, no problem. Minnesota Duluth played its Prom Dresses game without its injured star running back on Saturday, and early indications are that the Bulldogs might not be quite as explosive, but they are still awfully good. Just ask the University of Mary, which got shellacked 49-0 by UMD in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game before a homecoming crowd of 4,545 spectators at Malosky Stadium. Senior running back Brad Foss led Blue Strapless Floor-length Prom Dress way, rushing 14 times for 121 yards and a career-high three touchdowns in just 2 1/2 quarters.

"Someone texted us this morning and told us Odim wasn't going to play, and that's a good thing for us, but in reality, we knew that Foss, their offensive line, and every part of their team is still really good," said Blue Strapless Long Prom Dress coach Myron Schulz. "They're just really talented. They dominated us. Our redshirts back home have no idea how good Duluth is, but this is a learning curve for our young players who made the trip. This is the level every team strives to get to." UMD (7-0 overall, 6-0 NSIC) scored on four of its five first-half drives, with the lone exception being a missed field goal, to quickly turn the game into a rout.

The Bulldogs believe a more collective effort from their offense, defense and special teams -- as they received on Saturday -- can help ease the Odim loss. UMD tightened on defense and ramped up its Blue Strapless Sweetheart Formal Dress against a decent Mary front seven, with 531 total yards and 327 yards in the first half alone. UMD's big offensive line, which averages 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, manhandled the Marauders (1-6, 1-5). Foss ran untouched on his last TD, from 13 yards out, through a hole that was literally 10 feet wide.
