The 54th London International Antiquarian Book Fair takes place at the Olympia Exhibition Center from June 9-11. More than 160 top dealers from the U.K., Europe, Israel, Canada, the U.S. and Australia will offer rare editions in literature, humanities and science, as well as illustrated books, manuscripts, maps and prints. A highlight on London bookseller Paul Foster's stand will be a copy of Ernest Hemingway's "Across the River and Into the Trees" (1950) that preceded the first U.S. edition (price: 拢12,500). Typed into the Lime Sweetheart Neck Beaded Short Prom Dress page is a list of errors, along with a handwritten note by the publisher Charles Scribner that says, "This is one of 24 copies, bound in a different cloth from the regular edition and has the above errors....Hemingway & I have given these 24 copies to friends--none were sold."

London dealer Peter Harrington will offer an intimate letter written in 1932 by Virginia Woolf to her fellow writer Vita Sackville-West in which she says, "I would pitch you a very melancholy story about my Lovely Pink Strapless Princess Prom Dress of all your new loves" (price: 拢32,500). A contrasting highlight will be typescripts of 40 films by the legendary comedy pair Laurel and Hardy (price: 拢45,000). Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (1964), the tale of Charlie Bucket, the luckiest boy in the world (price: 拢8,500).
