A native of Cordele, Judge Forrester graduated from Cordele High School, then attended North Georgia College and earned his juris doctor degree from the University of Georgia in 1948.He began a Silver Prom Dresses law practice in Cordele soon after graduation and continued in that capacity until 1980 when then Governor George Busbee appointed him to the Cordele Judicial Circuit judgeship.Several individuals from the community will talk about Judge Forrester's contributions to Crisp County and the entire judicial circuit which also includes Dooly, Wilcox and Ben Hill counties.
