Automotive racing legend Carroll Shelby will be the guest of Cheap Prom Dresses at the World Children's Transplant Fund's (WCTF) inaugural Global Partners Dinner fundraiser on May 12, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, Calif.The exclusive fund-raising dinner will highlight the famed car manufacturer's charitable Strapless White Short Prom Dress and activities through the years, as well as his support of the WCTF's mission to provide children the opportunity to receive life-saving organ transplants, the group said.

"Carroll has been a strong advocate in the fight to help children receive the medical support and equipment they need," said Jenni Shreeves, executive director of The Carroll Shelby Foundation.
